Chicago OHare International Airport offers various options for those looking for short-term and long-term parking. Options include Economy Parking, Hourly Parking, Daily Parking, Valet Parking, and Reserved Parking. Lets take a quick look at each option and how much they cost:

Economy Parking: Economy lots at OHare are your best bet if you intend to park for an extended period. Parking at the economy lot will set you back by $15 to $22 a day, with Lot G being the most affordable. OHare airport offers valet parking services at its main garage for Terminals 1,2, and 3. Chicago O’hare Parking Tips

If you enjoy the convenience of valet parking when you go to the airport, Chicago OHare offers valet parking for terminals 1, 2, and 3 in the Main Garage. For less than 8 hours, the rate is $26 after that, the charges are $64 per day.

Limited reserved parking spots are available on Level 4 of the Main Parking Garage. There is an additional fee of $10 per day on top of the regular parking charges.

Chicago OHare Airport has a cell phone lot located at the West Parking Area off Cab Hill. This free facility allows you to wait with your vehicle until your guests have arrived at the airport, allowing you to proceed to the terminals curbside pickup area in your own time.

The Chicago Department of Aviation announced today that construction is beginning on a new, six-story parking garage that will service the expanded Terminal 5, more than doubling the amount of available parking at the terminal as it makes the $1 billion transition to a state-of-the-art facility that will serve domestic and international passengers.

OHare is the worlds gateway to Chicago, and nowhere is that more true than Terminal 5, said Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot. These ground transportation and curbside improvements will ensure visitors to our city have a world-class experience from the moment their bags hit the ground to the moment they are whisked away by plane, train or automobile.

When completed in 2024, the new garage will replace the current surface parking lot and expand capacity to offer a mix of short- and long-term parking options, like those available at the airports main terminals. The construction is part of the larger OHare 21 initiative, which aims to create a more efficient transportation experience for travelers from curb to gate across the entire airport property.

The Terminal 5 Garage project is led by joint venture AECOM Hunt Clayco BOWA as Construction Manager at Risk and supported by 60 participating contractors, including 14 MBE and 14 WBE firms.

Economy parking lot E and G start at just $10. It is also possible to choose to use off-site parking provisions that have charges starting at $7 per day and who offer shuttles to the terminals.

For parking at Chicago O’Hare Airport for less than 3 hours, head to level 1 of the Main Parking Garage. This parking facility is located adjacent to the domestic terminals. If you pick up guests traveling internationally at Chicago O’Hare Airport, International Lot D offers short-term parking located next to terminal 5. The rates for hourly parking at these facilities are $3 for up to 1 hour, $6 for 1-2 hours, and $10 for 2-3 hours.

Daily parking is available on levels 2-6 of the Main Garage at Chicago O’Hare Airport and lots B and C, located next to the garage. The rates here are the same, starting at $3 for up to 1 hour, $6 for 1-2 hours, $10 for 2-3 hours, and $14 for 3-4 hours. Then, the rates rise to $24 for 4-8 hours and $42 for 8-24 hours.
