A family have been left heartbroken after their only son was crushed by a garage door during a game of hide and seek.
Abdul Razack Tarawaley, nine, and another boy were horrifically found trapped at the top of the door by his father in Newport, Melbourne, Australia.
Abdul’s father is grieving the loss of his sweet and eloquent nine-year-old son who he last saw alive when he went outside to play with friends.
Abduls father, who goes by the same name, said his son was with two of his friends at their apartment complex after dinner on Saturday when tragedy struck.
His Dad told the Herald Sun: He said, No, Dad, you know I go to school from Monday to Friday, and I have to play on weekends. Can you please give me a chance to play with my friends?
I said, OK, just for 30 minutes. But now 30 minutes is forever.
He said he thought they were playing hide-and-seek, but when he got closer, he saw blood running out of his sons mouth.
It is understood the children were climbing on the outside of the door at the time of the incident while pressing the open button.
I tried to pull down the gate, but I couldnt because it was too big and too heavy, the father said to 7NEWS.

Gruesome new details have emerged about the tragic final moments of a boy, 9, who died when he was crushed by a garage door in Melbourne.
Abdul Razack Tarawaley was playing with a friend at the apartment complex where the freak accident unfolded in Newport about 7.30pm.
The two boys were holding on to the gate when it swung upwards and crushed them between the door and a metal grate.
Abduls father, who shared his name, thought the boys were playing hide and seek but found them trapped metres above the ground.
Through tears, he told Seven News his sons fingers were cold when he found him and the second boy who is in hospital in a serious condition was saying Help me God!
I was thinking they are playing hide-and-seek but when I get there, I see blood, Tarawaley said.
He said the children did not have a swipe key for the garage door but may have activated it by pressing an emergency open button.
Tarawaley said he had given his son permission to play with his friend for 30 minutes when the unimaginable happened.
Thirty minutes is forever, he said
He told the Herald Sun he tried to pull the gate down when he found the boys but couldnt because it was too big, its too heavy.
Emergency services were called to reports two boys were trapped in the door on Mason St about 7.30pm.
